For over a decade, Elgiloy Specialty Metals LLC has specialized in precision rolling of stainless steel and high-performance specialty alloys. Our experienced Production Team, made up of skilled and innovative rolling operators, ensures consistent, specification-accurate strip production—every time. We offer a diverse selection of more than 125 stainless steel and advanced alloy grades for both consumer and mission-critical needs. With three dedicated rolling mills, we provide flexible production options and support low minimum order quantities. Additionally, our Quality and Engineering Teams are ready to support R&D trials and assist with new product development initiatives.
We precision roll strip and foil down to .0008” thick and up to 40” wide for a variety of commercial and mission-critical applications. We provide tempers from annealed to extra/super full hard with advanced automated precision gauging, enabling us to roll to requirements that others can’t.
Why manufacturers and service centers choose our precision strip
We invest in precision. Our multiple 20 high mills have both X-ray gages and Vollmer contact gages that work in tandem with laser tachometers for the most accurate thickness measurement. Mass flow automatic gauge control technology predicts the thickness during a pass compared to “after the fact” technology. The net result is longitudinal thickness with tolerances extremely close to target. Flatness is also automatically controlled with BFI shape sensing rolls feeding back to the mill’s actuators for edge, crown, and profile correction.
We also offer custom rolled finishes that enhance both production processes and appearance.

The Elgiloy Specialty Metals facilities provide specialized vertical annealing furnaces with hydrogen and argon atmospheres, tension leveling, precision slitting, and custom packaging to ensure your strip is to specification and delivered safely.
