Slitting CMC operates more than 15 slitters from heavy gauge units to the ultimate precision double loop and strand extensioner slitters with a thickness range from as thin as .001" (0.025mm) to as heavy as .125" (3mm). Widths range from a minimum of .187" (4.5mm) to a maximum of 50" (1270mm). CMC also slits coils as heavy as 900 PIW (16kg/mm).	Leveling CMC operates a Herr-Voss leveler, cutting sheets up to 48" (1219mm) wide. It is also capable of cutting strip to lengths as short as 13" (317mm). With its open stacker, lengths up to 156"(396mm) can be cut.
Blanking CMC's blanking line makes it possible to deliver close tolerance blanks for your production line. Lengths can be held as close as .010" (.25mm) and diagonals as close as .030" (0.79mm).	Buffing & Polishing Our buffing line is able to produce #7 and #8 finishes in coil up to 50" wide. Our polishing line can produce #3, #4, 320 Grit, Scotchbrite - fine, medium, and coarse finishes. We also can try to match special finishes if provided a sample. Gauge range for buffing and polishing is .017" - .187".
Oscillate Winding & Edging Coils up to 2000 lbs. can be traverse wound in thickness from .008" (0.2mm) up to .040" (1mm) and widths from .125" (3mm) to 1" (25mm). Other dimensions are handled on special inquiry; edging done per requirements to #1 round, #4 round, or #5 deburred edge.
